For the dedicated angler, the Stour, Avon and specialist fisheries are nearby.Īt the end of another great day in the New Forest or Dorset countryside, you’ll find a pub serving refreshments and food within a comfortable walk from the park.

You can try your luck at fishing on the river for free if you have a license but you need to understand that nature has provided some pretty efficient fisherman with herons and otters frequenting the site. The two beautiful lakes and river are for wildlife. Rabbits, moles and squirrels add interest!

Both are free to use and you can borrow clubs and balls from Reception. Leisure activities on the park include a pitch & putt course, which is almost half a mile long if you laid the holes end to end! Then there’s the Boules pitch. The friendly staff are happy to help with any questions you may have. There are lots of local guides in the Information Hut and you can borrow a book or DVD from our small library. For other supplies, supermarkets and caravan and camping centres are nearby. In the summer season, you can order newspapers and fresh morning bakery. The Reception shop is licensed and stocks essentials (including gas), such as local produce, eggs, local wines and beers, meat from an excellent local butcher and honey from the beehives on site. There is also a ladies strip-wash cubicle, private/disabled shower room, hand-dryers, hairdryers and all the usual equipment.Įverything is free to use, open 24 hours and kept very clean. Dogs are not permitted in this area.īack of Beyond Touring Park has two amenity blocks with high quality toilet and shower blocks with power-showers. This is ideal for campers who want to get closer to the wildlife. We also have a beautiful woodland glade, Emma’s Field, in a designated site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Most pitches have 10A electric hook-up with fresh water taps and waste water drains at frequent intervals. Touring caravan pitches are level, mostly well-drained, very firm grass and some are reinforced with matting. They must be on a lead around the pitches – but they can run free over 18 acres of woodland within secure park boundaries.
